Marina & Fishing

Lake O’ Pines is a great fishing lake, especially the west end where the Lake O’ Pines RV Park, Marina & Inn is located.

This part of the lake has the ideal conditions for fish. The water is relatively shallow and has large patches of aquatic growth. The plants provide a good habitat for a variety of life which in turn provides food for the fish. It is the perfect situation for lunker bass, pan-sized crappie, large catfish, and tons of bream.

These great fishing spots are right in front of the RV park. Launch your boat and move out of the marina channel and you are there. Hundreds of acres of great fishing is all around you.

This is a great location for kayaks and canoes as well. There is easy access to good fishing locations with just a few minutes of paddling. The water in this area is usually very calm and normally provides a very stable surface. You can see a lot of wildlife along the shores as you paddle. This is especially true early in the morning and just before dusk.

Fishing is often good right off our dock. Kids will especially enjoy catching bream that are just about always biting.

And don’t forget that you can clean your catch right here in our new fish house!

Bait & Tackle Shop

We have an onsite Bait & Tackle Shop which has many items to make your stay more enjoyable. We even have a wide variety of live bait, in addition to our dough baits. We also carry rods, reels, fishing hooks, bobbers, minnow buckets, and a good selection of other miscellaneous fishing supplies.

How about a Texas Fishing License? We have them.
